wink This is a useful and exciting site to visit - I have found a number of family ancestors lurking amongst the pages! I've also really enjoyed reading some of the background stories of this important era in South African history. Thank you too for your quick response to queries.
Regards,

Hi
I am decended from John Bradfield of the Calton Party on the Albury. My daughter Caroline is researching the family tree and will find this site invaluable.
Keep up the good work

smile Excellent site Thankyou for it. I have been reading through what you have and am thrilled.I am a decendant of Philip Frost and have some photos and stories I will look for and send.
Not certain what ICQ is for or AIM also if you are wanting a picture of me or my Frost family.
But once again thankyou I have really enjoyed my time today.

AIM and ICQ are "instant messaging" systems, ie 'texting' to others, and it's asking if you want to add your contact details. Not necessary.

Anne I have just discovered this site so don't know whether this response to your 2004 message will be valid. I am also a descendant of Philip Frost and would like to see how I am connected to other branches of the family tree. Regards Dave Frost

Really great site, Paul. I married a Parkin, desc. of John Parkin. He's gone now but perhaps I can stir my boys into writing in. We have the Parkin Family Book by a Mr Sellick which is very comprehensive. I'll be back for more squizzes in the future. BUT have to say I HATE waiting until I'm formally 'approved' to visit certain sites, anywhere. Ok, I understand etc. etc. Cheers smile

Thanks for a great site Paul. I am researching the Penny family (Charles and William, Sephton's party, Aurora, settled in Salem). All information welcome.
