11 September 1820 - Grants were made of Lot 20 (in Bathurst) to John Jarman, innkeeper.
5 December 1820 - John Jarman's Inn was opened at the North End of his Lot at Bathurst and named the Bathurst Arms, now on the south side of Donkin Terrace.
21 March 1821. No 20 John Jarman, the inn at the north end, and two houses and a bakery at the south end.
28 May 1821 : John Jarman was enlarging the Bathurst Arms.
