Other Information  He joined Anderson's subdivision of Bailie's party, and remained on the location until October 1823, when he moved to Grahamstown to find work.
He obtained a licence to trade at Fort Willshire in October 1824.
He was granted a share of the party's location. He subsequently settled in Uitenhage, but sold his house and furniture in 1848 when he returned to Grahamstown.
He died in the following year, leaving an only child, Mary Anne. His estate comprised movable and immovable property.
