- He was the leader of Duncan Campbell's party, from Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. Half pay officer in the Royal Marines.

On 16 Oct 1821 he was allocated plot #1 in Bathurst. by November 1824 he was married to Mary, In 1834 he was appointed Commissioner General for the eastern Districts. He must have died before 1841 as his widow remarried. In 1847 his lot in Bathurst was sold to George Palmer.
