My Lord,

            I am deputed by ten able bodied men who feel disposed to emigrate to the Cape of Good Hope whose names age and present occupation is as annexed to solicit your Lordships information whether it is possible to proceed by the convey that sail in November for the colony.

            And if Government will permit singel females who bare the relationship – one as mother and three as sisters to the above, to accompany them. Your Lordship’s answer will much oblige
