Sir,

            I am informed application is made to you by persons emigrating to the Cape of Good Hope. Myself and a few other young men wish to settle there and shall be much obliged for the necessary information respecting the incouragement Government will give to such persons. We are all well acquainted with agriculture perticler the management of vines &c and can give the most respectable refferences as to sobriety and industrious habits &c
