Sir,
I am directed by Mr. E.B. WILLIAM Esq to write to you respecting my emigration to the Cape of Good Hope and as there are ten going from Dover under the direction of Mr. MENESSES [sic], Boot & Shoe Maker, should wish to be one of their number or any other your Lordship shall be pleased to appoint and in a few days notice I shall be able to advance the deposit money.
