Mr. COCKBURN presents his compliments to Mr. GOULBURN. Mr. C. is very desirous of knowing whether the tender made by James HOOLE for myself and ten others is likely to be accepted – we were informed by Mr. GOULBURN’s letter to Mr. HOOLE on the 10th inst that it was under consideration. Mr. C. is anxious for their success as he knows some of the party to be good industrious people & hopes Mr. GOULBURN will excuse his troubling him on the subject
